What we collect, why, and how to reach us about it.
Cycling Watts Calculator is a set of free cycling calculators. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser — the numbers you type into a calculator (power, weight, speed, and so on) are never sent to our servers or stored by us. This policy covers the small amount of information we do collect: basic site analytics, and anything you choose to send us directly, such as an email.

Calculator inputs. Never collected. Every calculator on this site is a client-side tool — your inputs and results stay in your browser and are not transmitted to us.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and calculators are used, in aggregate. This can include your approximate location (city/country level), device and browser type, and which pages you visit — it does not include the numbers you enter into a calculator.
Emails you send us. If you email us (see Contact), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this only to respond to you.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visitors and sessions; see Google's own privacy documentation for details on what it collects. Separately, this site stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage — that preference stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Analytics data is used only to understand overall site usage and improve the calculators — for example, seeing which calculators are popular enough to justify expanding. Information you send by email is used only to respond to your query, feedback, or bug report; we don't use it for marketing and don't sell or share it with third parties beyond the analytics provider described above.
Google Analytics is the only third-party service that receives data from this site. Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not this one. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide using a browser extension such as Google's own Analytics opt-out add-on, or by blocking analytics scripts with your browser or an ad blocker.
Because we don't operate accounts, forms, or a database of personal information beyond emails you send us, there's little stored data to manage. If you'd like us to delete an email you previously sent us, or have any other question about data we may hold about you, email procalculators@outlook.com and we'll take care of it.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time as the site changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
